Olivia Christopher is a NH native currently based in Portland, ME. She is a recent graduate of the Osher School of Music where she studied voice with Dr. Malinda Haslett. Olivia has been captivated by all aspects of the theater from a young age. Her first performance credit includes her one woman show of Beauty and the Beast held in the family living room at 3 years old.
While at the Osher School of Music, Olivia was featured in several Opera Workshop scenes including Marie (La Fille du Régiement), Gretel (Hansel and Gretel), and Anne Trulove (A Rake’s Progress). She was a part of the university’s productions of Die Zauberflöte (Second Spirit) and Pauline Viardot’s Cendrillon (La Fée).
Olivia’s most recent passion has been the advocacy of women composers (or just… composers). After being introduced to Lili Boulanger, she began to create staged, multimedia concerts that combine her love of theater, history, and visual art. Olivia is proud to say that she is able to breathe new life into works that time has overlooked.

The Life and Work of Lili Boulanger
This recital was performed in partial fulfillment of the requirements of the degree Bachelor of Arts in Music. It was prepared as part of an Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program fellowship. This performance includes projections of various paintings by various French artists to visually represent each song. This is a rare performance of Lili Boulanger's "Clairières dans le ciel" and the first time that one of her works has been staged. All staging, research, stage design, English surtitles, and painting selection were produced by the artist.
